As the Reparations Project Director of the Reparations Stakeholder Authority of Asheville (RSAA), my focus is on the development of an independent, Black-led organization that guides the distribution of reparations funds, prioritizing Black voices in the decision-making process. I am very excited about the opportunity to speak with the LOTSAR to explore ways we could collaborate with one another and deepen the impact of our work.
The topic of our Lunch and Learn will be centered on the role that real estate can play in reparations and racial equity. Given realtors influence in Asheville and Buncombe County, your participation and insights could prove invaluable as we explore collaborative avenues for reparations and socio-economic transformation. I am confident that our dialogue can pave the way for innovative solutions that serve the broader community while enriching the field of real estate.
