The City has just released the draft final version of the Missing Middle Housing study (available on the project web page). The report reviews housing in Asheville, provides an overview of the current barriers to more housing, it reviews vulnerable neighborhoods that have the potential to be negatively impacted if too much change is put in place, and gives a list of recommendations that can guide Asheville towards more housing variety that has the potential be priced at levels that are more attainable. The presentation will review the study and have a discussion on the implications.
