Increasing acceptance of federal rental assistance (aka “Section 8” or “vouchers”) is a win-win opportunity for our community to house vulnerable households and capture affordable housing stock for our community. Thrive Asheville, and partner organizations in the Buncombe Rental Assistance Collaborative, are exploring ways to make federal rental assistance less risky and more profitable for landlords.
