The Code of Ethics cycle (2019-2021) ends this year. Have you fulfilled your Ethics requirements for this cycle. While you have until December 31st of this year to satisfy your requirements, I want to make sure you’re aware that you need to take an Ethics class before the end of the year.
If you didn’t know, our school, Sky Land School of Real Estate has our own Ethics class available as an NCREC accredited Elective course, Cracking the Code: A Guide to REALTOR® Code of Ethics and Professional Standards Enforcement. If this class doesn’t work for you , NAR has an option to take Ethics online here. Both of these options are free by the way (LOTSAR members get FREE CE)! Finally, the CE Shop offers their Code of Ethics course available as an asynchronous (self paced) option here. The course from the CE Shop IS NOT FREE.
Your options to take Code of Ethics;
If you have already taken your Ethics class anytime within the cycle, please forward your class certificate to Bryan Wooding so we can get it recorded with NAR. Typically schools do not submit this to NAR, only NCREC.
Lastly, please remember that if you do not fulfill your Ethics requirements, you risk losing your REALTOR membership (which removes you from the MLS)!
